Tobacco is a project for an office in the center of Kyiv, designed for a small IT company, which received the “Best of 2022” award from Archello. As the name suggests, the primary focus of the office is its color. A rather exotic tobacco shade can be seen throughout most of the space, though it fades in the main open space, which we designed in a calming white. Interestingly, the color scheme idea was inspired by the Pixel41 tile chosen for the restroom, which later influenced the design in other key areas. When selecting surface materials, our primary focus was the comfort of the people working here, so the flooring includes durable and comfortable vinyl and Forbo carpeting.

Understanding the importance of acoustic comfort, we installed Rockfon Eclipse sound-absorbing panels above the workstations and added partitions with sound-absorbing fabric for each desk.
The meeting room and private office deserve special mention; here, the Profim chairs from the Nu collection stand out, along with the option to create a secluded environment using curtains and soundproof glass partitions. This atmosphere was our goal throughout the office, so we also designed two sound-absorbing "call boxes" wrapped entirely in acoustic fabric to help minimize distractions from office noise.

As you move through the office, you’ll notice that the kitchen—often open and visible in office spaces—is fully enclosed, with only a small, single-pane glass door. This allows people to enjoy a coffee break or full meal in peace during the workday on the comfortable Nardi Trill Stool chairs.
In summary, this is an office where the fundamental idea is the comfort of each person’s work and presence, whatever they might be doing at any moment.
