This autumn, together with the jewelry brand Motrych Studio, we present the unisex collection Monument in the Palm, a translation of Kyiv and Dnipro’s architectural icons into a format you can wear, feel, and touch.

The Monument in the Palm collection is an attempt to reinterpret the architectural heritage of Ukraine’s late twentieth century, focusing on the modernist structures of Kyiv and Dnipro. To create the pieces, we explored the plasticity, rhythm, and historical context of these buildings, transforming their monumentality into jewelry scale.

The goal is to preserve the memory of architecture without idealizing it, but rather conveying its spirit, proportions, and rhythm in metal. Architecture becomes close again, literally tangible on the body.

Each piece is a micro-dialogue with a specific structure. From the rhythm of the consoles of the Salute Hotel to the symmetry of architect Eduard Bilsky’s Library, from the strong lines of the Ukrainian House to a form inspired by the “Battle for the Dnipro” Diorama.
These elements are not replicas, but reinterpretations, a transfer of architectural memory into a human scale.

This collaboration is a shared attempt to bridge scale and detail, matter and meaning, bringing the idea of architectural memory into a wearable form.

The series includes six jewelry objects micro-dialogues with architecture:
  • Salute ear cuffs echoing the rhythm of the Kyiv hotel’s cantilevered floors
  • Diorama. Battle for the Dnipro an interpretation of the building’s
vertical façades
  • Bilsky’s Library capturing symmetry and purity of volume
  • Ukrainian House brooch and pendant reminding us of the scale of civic architecture
  • Splitting the Atom earrings symbolizing the connection of science and art
Each piece is a precise balance of minimalist form and intellectual depth.
